Wander is an iOS app of spatial-audio soundscapes and video from places around the world. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it.
Wander does not collect, store, or share any personal data. The app does not require an account, does not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not track you or your activity in the app.
Any settings or preferences you configure (such as playback or accessibility options) are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard system storage (e.g. UserDefaults). This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
Soundscapes are downloaded from our content delivery network (operated by Cloudflare) when you play them, and are kept on your device. As with any download from the internet, the network receives your IP address and standard request information so it can deliver the files. We do not use this to identify you, and we do not combine it with any other data.
Wander does not record audio or video from your device's microphone or camera, and does not capture screen recordings of your activity in the app.
With compatible headphones, Wander uses head-movement data (with your permission) to place sound around you. This data is processed on your device and never leaves it.
If you turn on the Live Activity, the app sends a temporary Apple push token and the name of the soundscape playing to our server, which passes them straight to Apple's push service so the Live Activity on your Lock Screen stays current. Nothing is kept once the update is delivered.
Wander+ is purchased and managed through Apple. We never receive your payment details; the app checks your subscription status with Apple on your device.
Wander does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only third party involved is Apple, through standard operating-system services (such as app installation, crash diagnostics you may separately opt into at the OS level, and payment processing for any paid features, if applicable). Apple's handling of that data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
Wander does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
If Wander's data practices change — for example, if we add optional analytics in a future version — this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change.
